Carpentry

I am a self taught carpenter with bench joinery skills and produce work to a high finish in the same sectors as above. I do bespoke domestic installations of cabinetry/kitchens storage etc and most traditional carpentry work. I learned the trade on the job working in 1st and second fix carpentry, scenic construction on-site and in the workshop mostly between cups of tea...

Ceramics and Mould-Making

I am currently studying Ceramics and in the process of setting up a studio pottery based part of my practice creating tableware, pots and sculptural vessels using hand-building techniques and throwing shapes on the wheel.

I have some experience of mould-making with silicone and plaster moulds to be cast in modern and traditional materials such as Jesmonite, wax, concrete and other applicable mediums.
although this is not my specialism i really enjoy the process and can function as part of a team on larger more complex work or independently with small reproductions.
My philosophy is diversity of materiality to produce the highest standard of work and to create innovation in everything i do.

I also really love plants and ecology and try to have a sustainable practice wherever possible.
